As to our burden for Australia, all I can say is that it was liked being called to preach all over again. I can't give any particular reason why the Lord chose for me to come to Australia, but neither can I give any reason why He chose me to salvation or to be a preacher.  As with the call to preach, the Lord just impressed upon my heart that Australia was to be the place that I go and after a week or two of feeling the hand of God upon me I surrendered and the Lord has taken care of everything else since then. 

In case you need info about Australia I will give a little back ground.

Australia has a land mass almost the same as the US, however, here we have less than 20 million people, most all of which live along the coast.  And Australia is an island, so the coast extends all around the country. 

Like the US, Australia started as an English colony, however, now it is an independent country, however, it still hold ties with the Queen of England.  We are allowed to practice our religion freely and freedom of speech is a sacred principle here as well. 

Unlike the States, Australia has very few Baptist churches, especially Independent, Sovereign Grace Baptist.  Matter of fact, the church we have started is the only one that I know of in Australia that is exactly like those in the States.  Of course, I don't know all the churches here, but I have been looking for some that are like faith and practice and haven't found any yet. 

We have not found much resistance to the Doctrines of Grace, which was a surprise to me, but no one seems to know what a true church is.  I am fighting Universalism constantly.
